Welcome to the Crawley Badminton Club website
As well as being affiliated to Badminton England, Crawley Badminton Club is a key part of the Crawley Badminton Network which caters for players of all ages and abilities. We are a friendly club of around 40 members made up of 8 different nationalities focusing on producing players to compete in matches in the local leagues.
Our club nights run throughout the year on Monday evenings at 7:30pm at St Wilfrids School in Crawley. League matches are played from September until April in the local Sussex and Surrey area. We play all matches and club games with feather shuttlecocks.
Changing facilities and showers are available at St Wilfrids.
We have several Mens and Mixed Doubles teams entered into two local leagues and we are always looking to increase our participation in these leagues. We are happy for league standard and improver players to join our club. New faces are always made to feel welcome. Our minimum age requirement is 16 years.
Your first session at the club will be free of charge. We will quickly assess your level and it will give you an opportunity to see whether the club is suitable for you.
We can be found in the main sports hall on the centre courts (5-8) so come along and introduce yourself and we will get you started playing. If you'd like to speak to someone at the club before attending then you'll find our contact details on the Contact Us page of this site.
If you would like to get your badminton skills up to speed before joining our club, then a more relaxed session of badminton can be found at K2 on Thursday evenings between 6 – 7pm via the No Strings Badminton group. And if you are new to badminton and would like to learn the game, please contact local Sussex coach Zeyar Win via Fast Step Badminton.
